Episode 103 - New York City (Part 2)
Sunday May 28, 2017
Sunday May 28, 2017
On today's episode, I sat down with Christopher James in our hotel in New York City to cover Part 2 of our visit!
We had such an incredible time in New York City, and can't wait to return. The final day I pretty much walked Christopher to death, making sure that I could show him all that Lower Manhattan had to offer. We walked 14 miles in just a matter of 5 hours! I paid for it a few days later, but as we recorded this episode, Christopher was exhausted and ready to kill me.
On the episode, we talked about our visit to the Seinfeld Diner (Tom's Restaurant), visiting Times Square, Christopher almost getting conned by a Monk, cruising down the Hudson to see the Statue of Liberty, attend the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, getting to talk to Colbert, Midtown Comics, Central Park, and so much more!
New York City didn't let us down, and I look forward to returning in October for New York Comic Con. It's always a great time in New York, and it was great being able to show Christopher around the city. Thanks for having us New York!
Enjoy the episode!

Episode 102 - New York City (Part 1)
Saturday May 20, 2017
Saturday May 20, 2017
On today's episode, we recap Day 1 of our time in New York City!
I sat down with Christopher James at our hotel, Pod 51, in New York to talk about our incredible experiences during our first day in town. This is Christopher's first time in New York, but I had a great time being able to show him around the city. He's absolutely terrified of rats and is convinced he's going to see one, and for my own sadistic humor sake, I really hope he does.
During our Day 1 recap, we talk about Christopher's bad flight experience, arriving to the city, our new hotel, visiting NBC Studios and 30 Rock, the Empire State Building, talking to Seth Meyers, and so much more!
This first day was absolutely incredible! This episode is a little but shorter of an episode since it was just our first day, but the next episode will cover quite a bit. Day 2 and 3 and so much packed into them as well. Stay tuned for Part 2 of our New York coverage in next weeks episode! Check out our social media pages for all of the pictures and updates from our time in New York City.
Enjoy the episode!

On today's episode, I have writer, comedian, and program director of the Nerdist Showroom, Caitlin Durante!
I first met Caitlin a little over a year ago at the Nerdist Showroom after recording an episode of the podcast with Kyle Clark. Kyle told me that Caitlin would be a great guest on the podcast and for the last year I've wanted to have Caitlin on the show. While we were down in Los Angeles last month recording shows, I knew this would be the perfect time to have Caitlin on the show. Austin Grant, Jesse Knight, Christopher James and I sat down with Caitlin in the green room at the Nerdist Showroom to record this episode.
On the episode we talked with Caitlin about making the move to Los Angeles, getting involved with Nerdist, working odd jobs, writing screenplays, her monthly stand up show "Luck of the Draw", her podcast "The Bechdel Cast", which focuses on how women are represented in film, great women comics, and so much more.
